WordPress is a Content Management System (CMS), created in Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP). In other words, WordPress is a blogging software and also called framework to develop website. WordPress setup is very easy to install, and anyone can understand easily without having a coding knowledge.

WordPress is basically a CMS that manages content of websites. You can create both blog and e-commerce platform in WordPress. It provides best and user-friendly user interface for designing layout of the websites. You may simply install some awesome themes and you can prepare a very attractive layout WordPress Dashboard theme options and plugins. There are lots of plugins available for WordPress you can easily install plugins from WordPress Dashboard and can have best extra features for your site.

How Does WordPress Setup work in your own pc?

Install WordPress through XAMPP

First of all, you need to download XAMPP tool from Google. XAMPP an acronym for X (any operating system i.e. windows, mac etc.) Apache MySQL PHP (or Python or Perl). Install the downloaded setup of XAMPP, double click and run on your computer as shown in below screen shot.

Hit Start button for both Apache and MySQL. Now test on chrome browser, just type 127.0.0.1 or http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ on browser address bar. If you see as below screen shot that means XAMPP is working fine.

Download zip file of WordPress from Google, and extract zip file in this path C:\xampp\htdocs. After that you can access WordPress through this link http://localhost/wordpress, then just follow the instructions and install WordPress easily. After install WordPress on your own pc then you will be able to install WordPress on Live web server easily. Just you need to follow your hosting instructions.
